Job loss. Isolation. Moved four times in 21 months. Divorce. Hair cut off. Bad botox. Fat was removed from my face while sleeping. Fat was injected into me while sleeping after significant weight loss. Broke. These are the highlights of my last 21 months, and we haven't begun to touch on the 42 years before that. And yes, these things hurt. But do you know what hurts more? QUITTING. So despite all the extreme adversity I have been put through, I have managed to keep my weight steady at around 133lbs at 5'10" tall going on four years and continue to train daily. I even did my first triathlon, a little 70.3 Mile race called a Half Ironman with rotated bones, coaching myself to a finish in the top 45% for all women. Since the start of COVID, I have cycled 7,300+ miles without a single group ride. I have swum nearly 400,000 yards without a coach. I have run nearly 3,000 miles since March of 2020. Alone. I have been consistently exercising since 2014 with a Strava log to prove it.
And most important of all, I have successfully made my diet my lifestyle, joining the 1% who can manage to keep the lost weight off beyond the first three years, now going on four years. How? I never quit on myself.
Now, as a Certified Nutrition Coach and Ironman Coach, I am going to coach you on how to make sustainable life changes to live your best healthy life by never quitting on yourself again. I will teach how to grocery shop, coping strategies for handling temptation and stress without turning to destructive behavior like binge eating, excessive alcohol or drug use while never feeling deprived.
I will coach you on my best practices for accountability. We will move past external motivation and work instead on discipline because discipline is what drives real results for the long haul. No more excuses.
I will turn you into a runner, cyclist or swimmer no matter where you are today. And I will even get you across the finish line for an Ironman with results you will be proud of.
You may not like me during the process; in fact, I am pretty sure you won't. But you are not hiring me to be your friend. You are hiring me to coach you to stop quitting on yourself once and for all with sustainable changes to your well-being.
Like you, I have been a victim to bad information and medical negligence and have had an extremely difficult journey to get to where I am at today. I don't wish my experiences on anyone.
And what makes me different than other coaches? My results speak for themselves. This is not arrogance when 90% of people quit the gym three weeks into the new year. By six months, less than 95% are adherant to their "diet". Despite more specialists than ever, obesity is spiraling quickly out of control with 42%+ of the US population now obese. Between 2019 and 2020, there has been a 24% increase in diabetes diagnosis(s) along with a 14% increase in deaths related to diabetes alone. In 2020, 16 states had adult obesity rates at or above 35 percent, up from 12 states the previous year. And despite being put through extreme adversity, I bucked this trend. That is what makes me different.
I broke the mold of weightloss and sustainable habits and I will coach you to real results using an evidence-based science approach to eating and exercise and more importantly, flipping your mindset to live your best healthy life that you deserve.
Did you know that being overweight or having obesity increases your risk of getting cancer? You may be surprised to learn that being overweight or having obesity is linked with a higher risk of getting 13 types of cancer.
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention these cancers make up 40% of all cancers diagnosed in the United States each year. And this is based on evidence-based science.
A recent study showed how fitter individuals scored higher on the cognitive tests and also had higher levels of white matter in the brain—which is your brain’s connection system, responsible for transmission of nerve signals.
Regular exercise is linked to lower risk of heart disease, cancer and dementia
Research now clearly shows exercise is as effective if not more effective than antidepressants
In 2018, I unexpectedly left my job at Cox Enterprises due to a physical illness that extended beyond FLMA after taking preventative steps to ward off cancer, including a double mastectomy with reconstruction. Since being away from corporate, I have used the time for a proper self-growth sabbatical as well as getting my health in order.

I have lost and sustained a nearly 40lb weight loss by overhauling my eating habits and cooking
about 90% of all my meals from minimally processed ingredients and exercise.
I trained and finished my first full marathon
Earned my open water scuba diving certification
Transitioned from exclusive treadmill running to an almost exclusive outdoor runner.
And in 2020, I set out to knock out a big bucket list item: An Ironman traithlon. ! I started at ground zero with cycling and swimming. I couldn't afford a coach so I coached myself to my first 70.3 Half Ironman, my first ever triathlon, with a finish time of 6:24, placing me in the top 45% of all women regardless of age. I went from sucking wind swimming 50M to an open water swim time of 36 minutes for 1.2 miles against the odds stacked high against me.
The experience was so transformational for me in so many ways from my relationship with food, goal setting, adaptability, and mental toughness, I pursued and earned my Ironman Coaching Certification to help others get across that finish line!
